Embrace the bohemian life as Pappano conducts the orchestra and choir of the Accademia Nazionale in extracts from Bizet's 'Carmen' and Borodin's 'Polovtsian Dances'.

As well as the works that made them household names in their own eras and beyond, both Borodin and Bizet wrote significant orchestral works. Unfairly neglected in comparison to the more‐popular vocal pieces, Bizet's 'Symphony in C' and Borodin's Second Symphony add a new level of insight into the output of two talents outpaced by their own creations!
