Billy Budd: Teatro Real

About the Event

Be a part of the excitement, when Britten's 'Billy Budd' has its Spanish premiere, over 60 years after the work's first performance. The entrance of this new production by Deborah Warner into the repertoire is part of the 200th anniversary festivities of Teatro Real.

Herman Melville died before he finished his novella, 'Buddy Budd'. The introspective work was a perfect fit for Benjamin Britten, whose composition probes the human psyche.

Practical Information

Please note: In some areas of the Teatro Real, some seats have a partially obstructed view of the stage. Teatro Real recommends category B for the finest and completely unobstructed view of the performance.
