Berliner Residenz Konzerte: Klassiksommer Schloss Charlottenburg – W.A. Mozart & J.S. Bach with dinner at Charlottenburg Palace

About the Event

For years now, the Berliner Residence Orchestra has presented a thrilling and varied Mozart program during the summer months. And for good reason: the genius from Salzburg himself visited Charlottenburg Palace in 1789. Following the audience favorites Mozart’s Masterpieces and Mozart’s Opera Gala comes a concert experience based on the friendship between J.C. Bach and W.A. Mozart.

As an 8‐year‐old, the child prodigy Wolfgang met the London Bach in the British capitol, and later intensely studied and further developed his gallant style. Johann Christian Bach is considered the originator of the Viennese classical style that made Mozart immortal. Let your eyes and ears delight in this festive summer gala, performed by the outstanding Berliner Residence Orchestra in their elegant historic costumes.
