Berlin PianoPercussion: Amalgams I

About the Event

Berlin PianoPercussion presents instrumental expansion as a primary project goal in the Amalgam project. The audience experiences transparent sound worlds in which moods, feelings and musical forms of expression are conveyed in a very direct manner.

Besides piano and percussion, one or two other instruments from flute, clarinet and cello are involved in each work. Elements from original sound worlds, folkloristic, mythological or naturphilosophical, and partly minimalistic or modal textures can be heard.
