Benjamin Britten: Peter Grimes

About the Event

"Peter Grimes" by Benjamin Britten, will be staged in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Maestro Pedro Halffter will lead the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria.

"Peter Grimes" is considered by many to be one of the greatest operas of the twentieth century. It is perhaps the best English opera written after "Dido and Aeneas" by Henry Purcell, nearly three hundred years earlier.
