Belle Époque: Festival Fernand de La Tombelle
About the Event
The Strada Quartet, together with pianist Jean‐Frédéric Neuburger and double‐bass player Yann Dubost, will offer a program with works for strings and piano by La Tombelle.
Practical Information
Fernand de La Tombelle (1854‐1928) composed more than 600 works, and was also a poet, chronicler, photographer, and painter. Fond of astronomy, archeology, cycling, and cars, this eclectic turn‐of‐the‐century composer remains largely unknown today. Palazzetto Bru Zane introduces the Venice audience to his chamber music in a series of concerts.
