Share Daniel Barenboim's delight in Bruckner and Mozart — two composers with whom his career has been intrinsically linked — as he advances, with his Berlin Staatskapelle, towards completing the cycle of Bruckner's symphonies.

Somewhat removed from the symphonies that preceed it, yet still imbued with wit, imaginative orchestration, and typically Brucknerian rhythms, the Sixth has a reflective character, particularly in the profound slow movement. By way of contrast, Barenboim plays Mozart's joyous and vibrant 22nd Piano Concerto.
