Band meets Orchestra: Orchestra Toscana Classica

About the Event

The Lake Forest Highschool Band & Orchestra perform at the uniquely beautiful Auditorium Santo Stefano al Ponte.

The band begins with favorites from Bernstein and Verdi as well as traditional Italian songs. After that the string orchestra performs works by Piazzolla, Grieg, and Britten. In the last part of the evening orchestra and band join forces in famous film music and the classic 'O sole mio'.
