Edit Klukon was born in Budapest and studied piano in her hometown with Pàl Kadosa, Jenö Jandò and György Kurtàg at the Ferenc Liszt Academy. The main emphasis of her repertory is literature for four-hands and two pianos as well as chambermusic. She performs regularly throughout Europe as a soloist and duo partner of her husband, Dezsö Ránki, and enjoys further an excellent reputation as a highly sensitive accompanist.
