The flutist Burkhard Jäckle studied at the conservatories of Trossingen and Detmold and at the senior master class of the Munich Academy of Music. His teachers were Gabriele Zimmermann and Paul Meisen. Followed by classes with Aurèle Nicolet. Burkhard Jäckle was principal flutist of the Munich Symphony Orchestra. Since 1993 he has been principal flutist of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. He is particularly interested in contemporary music. He is amember of the 'Ensemble TrioLog'.
