Giaux, Baudoin

Baudoin Giaux trained in France, initially at the Metz Music Academy then completing his studies at the Higher National Music Academy in Paris, where he met many accomplished players (Alain Marion, Maurice Bourgues, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Messian, Ozawa) which helped nurture and bring his talent to the fore.

Over the past few years, he has been increasingly in demand as a soloist and a chamber performer, taking part in many prestigious concerts and festivals, including Salzburg, Munich, Amsterdam, Montreux, Paris and Marseille. His recordings, including the finest concertos by Mahaut (a composer from Namur) are extremely popular, especially among US broadcasters.
