The association of the choirs in Mallorca has been founded in 1986. Its current president is Antoni Arenas. Goal of the association is to unify the choirs of the Balearic Islands, to support by giving the possibilties to work on ambigous symphonic music. Another mission is to support the collaboration with professional musicians and renown conductors, in order to amplify the musical creation and experience of the choirmembers. Highlights of this work have been concerts with the world‐famous tenor Placido Domingo in the Arena de Palma and many concerts have been broadcast by IB3.
