Simon Trpceski

Born in Macedonia in 1979, Trpčeski, recently one of the most sought‐after and renowned pianists of the younger generation, has been brought to international fame after winning the London International Piano Competition in 2000, followed by laurels in the Czech Republic and Italy. In July 2002, he graduated from the Faculty of Music at the University of St. Cyril and St. Methodius in Skopje, where he studied with Professor Boris Romanov. He was a member of the BBC New Generation Scheme 2001–2003, and in May 2003 was awarded the Young Artist Award by the Royal Philharmonic Society.
