During the 25 years of his career, Alexandre Tharaud has established a distinctive profile in the world of classical music and is considered one of the leading ambassadors of French pianism today. At the Dresden Music Festival, he appears together with the sing‐songwriter and multiple Grammy winner Angélique Kidjo, who hails from Benin and France. Together they dedicate themselves to French chanson and its evergreen enchantment, with works by Barbara, Brassens, Brel, Gainsbourg and Piaf and many others.
