András Schiff plays Beethoven: Orchestre de Paris

About the Event

World famous pianist András Schiff joins the Orchestre de Paris in Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4. Also on the program are two rarely performed pieces of the 20th century.

Charles Koechlin was known for his love of literary stories as inspirations for his compositions. Conductor David Zinman will lead the orchestra in Koechlin's 'Les Bandar‐Log' which was inspired by Kipling's 'Jungle Book'.
The evening begins with Honegger's Symphony No. 2.
