About the Event
Alexandre Tharaud returns to laVerdi under the sign of Haydn and Mozart to perform two piano concertos that are as famous as they are loved for their freshness, luminosity and measure. From the triumphs of Hapsburg classicism, the great French pianist, already a guest of laVerdi at La Scala in 2017, passes the baton on to our Musical Director: with a temporal leap of almost one hundred years, Claus Peter Flor invites us to rediscover one of the most significant Austrian composers between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries: Franz Schmidt.
