About the Event
Do not miss this opportunity to see the world premiere of Alexander Ekman's new creation for the Opéra de Paris, Play, in the stunning Palais Garnier.
Swedish choreographer Alexander Ekman is known for his audacious works and sparkling personality. With Play, he invites the audience to rediscover the joy of experimentation and dreams. In commemorating what has been forgotten, he draws us in to remember how we used to play as children, as we sadly do not play so often anymore as adults. Ekman's imagination bursts to life through a spectacular setting with metallic structures and dancers suspended in space for a production full of surprise, rhythmic energy and adventure.
