The Dutch trio is justly celebrated, and their eponymous Festival is fast becoming a fixture in the European musical calendar. Playing Mendelssohn's First Piano Trio — widely regarded as one of the composer's greatest chamber works — and Brahms' popular Second Trio, the Storioni demonstrate the incisive interpretation and seamless ensemble playing they are renowned for.
