Afternoon Concert: Mendelssohn & Mozart

About the Event

While away an afternoon between Christmas and New Year with the Hague's Residentie Orchestra. Two acclaimed rising stars — conductor Duncan Ward and baritone Henk Neven — join the orchestra for this luscious concert of favorite arias and symphonies.

Neven, the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, sings arias from Mozart's Da Ponte operas, taken from roles he has made his own on some of the world's greatest stages. Mendelssohn's Fourth Symphony is the perfect antidote to grim winter weather, overflowing with the warmth, color, and vivacity of the Italian peninsula.
