Academy of St Martin in the Fields: Bach and Tchaikovsky

Indulge in an evening of exquisite music and beautiful architecture. The world‐renowned Academy of St Martin in the Fields plays Bach's Second Orchestral Suite, and Tchaikovsky's 'Serenade for Strings' in the concert hall of Barcelona's Palau de la Musica Catalana.

To begin the concert, the Academy doffs its hat to its host, with Xavier Montsalvatge's 'Three reflections on a winter pastoral'. Montsalvatge was one of the most influential and important Catalan musical figures of the late 20th Century.
