Academy of St Martin in the Fields & Bell: Tivoli Concert Hall

About the Event

Get ready for a special music experience of this year’s 'Summer Classical' at Tivoli Concert Hall.

In 2019, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields celebrates its 60th anniversary with several major tours through Europe, the USA, Mexico and Russia. Since 2011, the internationally renowned violinist and conductor Joshua Bell has been the orchestra's artistic director, succeeding Sir Neville Marriner, the orchestra's founder.
The program includes three masterpieces of the highest quality: Bach's brilliant Violin Concerto in A Minor, Schubert's Death and the Maiden, and Barber's famous and popular Adagio for strings. The famous orchestra sets a fulminant accent with Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.
