A Midsummer Night's Dream: Konzerthaus Berlin

About the Event

Be enchanted once again by the magical harmonies of Mendelssohn's music for 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Conductor Olari Elts brings actors, singers and other creative talents from his homeland to the Konzerthaus for this immersive experience.

Estonian theater ensemble NO99 brings its own unique combination of technology and real time to a performance that returns Mendelssohn's music to the place where it was premiered in 1843. Through close‐up multiple media, human experience, and imagination, the exploration of the inner life of Shakespeare's characters is then thrown into high relief.

Please note: As the stage is situated in the middle of the hall, the audience will be seated around the stage.

Spoken texts at this event will be performed in Estonian with German subtitles.
