With its spiritual Allegro, the adorable Adagio and the melancholic final movement, Dvořák's work is certainly the most passionate cello concerto ever. Daniel Müller‐Schott returns to the Tonkünstler Orchestra with this masterpiece, before the musicians stage another dream world under the direction of guest conductor Dmitrij Kitajenko and perform excerpts from Pyotr Iljitsch Tchaikovsky's 'Nutcracker' suite.
