Nemanja Radulovic & I. Culture Orchestra at Concertgebouw + 3 course dinner

Über die Veranstaltung

From lovely to sarcastic: violinist Nemanja Radulovic shows the extremes of Prokofiev. The youthful I, Culture Orchestra is building a pagan feast with Stravinsky's Le sacre du printemps.

The sacredness of the printemps

More than a hundred young musicians venture into the most innovative work of the 20th century: Stravinsky's Le sacre du printemps. The I, Culture Orchestra is composed every year. Participants are young musicians from Poland and the six countries of the Eastern Partnership. Stravinsky's Le sacre plays with star conductor Kirill Karabits, who according to The Telegraph is an 'inspiring architect'. In which sensational rhythms, Russian folk influences and lots of energetic horns together build a pagan feast.

Nemanja Radulovic

Soloist with the I, Culture Orchestra is the charismatic Nemanja Radulovic. The star of last year's Last of the SummerNights. Tonight he will be performing in Prokofiev's Second Violin Concerto. Each part is completely different,' Radulovic said in an interview. Indeed: Prokofiev is sometimes sweet, sometimes downright sarcastic in this concert. And he sounds remarkably Spanish: the members of the orchestra are allowed to train themselves in castanets. A perfect work for the extravagant, virtuoso Radulovic.
