This alluring program, presented entirely without conductor by the Dijon Opera's resident ensemble, immerses us in the world of Bach and Brahms -- two composers who swirled moments of deep dissonance and discontent into their otherwise readily pleasing, bright music. 

Experience this first concert of the season with Les Dissonances -- and hear the Brahms Violin Concerto transfigured into grand chamber music. Like his entrancing Chaconne, Bach's The Musical Offering delights and, occasionally, darkens with its transformations on a theme presented to Bach by Frederick the Great.
