Weber's Abu Hassan: Children's Opera in the Crypt

Inspired by the Arabian Nights von Weber composed his famous comic opera to a libretto by Franz Carl Hiemer.
The ensemble Oper@Tee brings this magical piece to the crypt underneath the Peterskirche in Vienna. In costume and make‐up the talented musicians give young audiences an understanding of this beautiful work.
Children have the opportunity to experience the opera up close by sitting among the singers on stage.
Suitable for children aged 3 and above.

Série „Opera v kryptě“ je jedinečnou formou prezentace opery v její nejryzejší podobě. Za doprovodu klavíru předvádějí talentovaní zpěváci v kostýmech svá díla v mimořádné, intimní atmosféře krypty pod kostelem sv. Petra. Díky malé vzdálenosti mezi diváky a hudebníky můžete zažít operu tak, jak jste ji dosud neslyšeli ani neviděli.
