Opéra de Baugé presents Puccini's Tosca at a sixteenth‐century estate in the French countryside.

Tosca, Puccini is an opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini with a by of Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, after a play by Victorien Sardou. Its first performance was on 14th January 1900 at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome.

Opéra de Baugé is an international opera festival in Anjou, France. It offers its own, new, fully‐staged opera productions each season in a theatre which is specially erected at Les Capucins, Baugé, a historical property dating to the sixteenth century.

During the interval of 90 minutes the members of the audience can picnic in the park of Les Capucins or dine in the restaurant in the manor house (advance booking required). It is possible to bring your own picnic or to order picnic hampers in advance.
