Enter the world of Paavo Järvi and l'Orchestre de Paris as they continue their exploration of rarely played works with a composition by Dutilleux which hasn't been on the program for over 20 years.

Relive Bartók's Concerto No. 2, a concerto last heard in these halls in 2001  — performed then as well as this evening by Gil Shaham — and Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C Major, the one that paved the way for No. 5.
