Kirill Gerstein, a pianist with a long international career, has worked with the major symphony orchestras in the world's major chamber music centres.
Gerstein has received many awards, including the Echo Klassik, the Avery Fisher Prize and not least the Gilmore Artist Award, a prestigious award given only every four years to an outstanding pianist.
Gerstein performs regularly with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. The Tivoli offers a rare opportunity to hear him alone at the piano. In this concert Gerstein plays a wonderfully mixed program and spoils his audience with all facets of his piano virtuosity.
