Klavírní koncert je srdečnou poctou výjimečnému a milovanému polskému skladateli Fryderyku Chopinovi, jehož mistrovská díla rezonují v koncertních sálech po celém světě. Klavírista během sólového vystoupení představí Chopinovy ikonické skladby jako Impromptu Fantaisie, Preludia a Scherzo č. 2.
Ačkoli Chopin navštívil Itálii pouze jednou, a to v Janově, seznámení s italskou hudbou a kulturou ve Varšavě prostřednictvím zde žijících Italů zásadně ovlivnilo jeho tvorbu. Excellent concert. This was a piano player that gave a short explanation of every piece and the composer and how they were related. He was a teacher as well being a great musician. Intermixed some well known as well as pieces that I did not know. Best concert in a church that I have heard in years.
