The Tokyo Ballet was founded in 1964 and has always presented Eastern as well as Western works from all eras. The repertoire ranges from full‐length classical ballet and neoclassical works to masterpieces by contemporary choreographers.
With over 700 performances abroad on 25 tours, a record in the history of Japanese performing arts, Tokyo Ballet enjoys an enviable reputation as a world‐class Japanese company at home and abroad. The company regularly performs in the most prestigious European theatres, such as the Opera de Paris, the Teatro alla Scala di Milano, the Vienna State Opera and the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and successfully tours over 150 cities in 30 countries.

Koupele Caracalla jsou starověké lázně v Římě a patří mezi největší termální lázně ve Věčném městě.
Stavba lázní Caracalla byla pravděpodobně zahájena v roce 206 za vlády Septimia Severa a dokončena v roce 216 za vlády císaře Caracally. Další přístavby, jako například arkády a dekorace, byly provedeny za císařů Elagabala a Severa Alexandra, takže komplex nebyl dokončen až do roku 235 n. l. Spolu s Diokleciánovými lázněmi patřil k veřejným a bezplatným lázeňským palácům.
V roce 537 Ostrogóti během obléhání Říma zničili vodovod, čímž byla lázeňská činnost zastavena. Přesto byly až do renesance považovány za nejlépe zachované termální lázně.
V roce 1824 byly pod vedením hraběte Girolama Egidia di Velo zahájeny systematické vykopávky, při nichž byla objevena mozaika s atlety. Dnes se zde konají operní představení pod širým nebem v rámci římské opery.
