Ennio Morricone conducts his music for the cinema in four exceptional concerts at the Caracalla Baths for the summer season of the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome.
The living legend, who celebrated her 90th birthday last month, will perform at the Arena di Verona and at the Caracalla Baths in Rome.
The concerts are part of his '60 Years of Music' world tour with numerous sold‐out concerts. The tour celebrates the composer's and conductor's 60‐year career and has attracted over 650,000 spectators to date. These concerts in Verona and Rome will be the last time the maestro will play his beloved music before retiring.

Koupele Caracalla jsou starověké lázně v Římě a patří mezi největší termální lázně ve Věčném městě.
Stavba lázní Caracalla byla pravděpodobně zahájena v roce 206 za vlády Septimia Severa a dokončena v roce 216 za vlády císaře Caracally. Další přístavby, jako například arkády a dekorace, byly provedeny za císařů Elagabala a Severa Alexandra, takže komplex nebyl dokončen až do roku 235 n. l. Spolu s Diokleciánovými lázněmi patřil k veřejným a bezplatným lázeňským palácům.
V roce 537 Ostrogóti během obléhání Říma zničili vodovod, čímž byla lázeňská činnost zastavena. Přesto byly až do renesance považovány za nejlépe zachované termální lázně.
V roce 1824 byly pod vedením hraběte Girolama Egidia di Velo zahájeny systematické vykopávky, při nichž byla objevena mozaika s atlety. Dnes se zde konají operní představení pod širým nebem v rámci římské opery.
