Savor the warm mezzo voice and powerful presence of Anita Rachvelishvili in an intimate performance at the Carmen Church, during the Peralada Festival. The program includes a variety of songs and arias in Russian, Georgian, French, and Spanish.
Rachvelishvili's incarnation of Bizet's Carmen brought her rapid fame in 2009 when she sang the role in a televised production at Teatro alla Scala. Since then, the young Georgian star has performed to critical acclaim in practically every major opera house in the world.
