Advent Sounds of the Salzkammergut: Dinner & Concert in Französischer Dom

Indulge in a feast for all the senses in the cultural city of Berlin and enjoy a delicious dinner followed by wonderful music from the Salzkammergut in the breathtaking setting of the French Cathedral.

On 21 December at 8 p.m., a fresh breeze from the Austrian mountains will once again penetrate Berlin when atmospheric, fairytale sounds from the snow‐covered Salzkammergut will be heard in the French Cathedral on the Gendarmenmarkt.
Under the direction of music school teacher Christian Krenslehner, genuine folk music from the Alps will be performed and wonderful Advent magic will be spread. You can hear the famous 'devotional yodel' by Tobias Reiser as well as different tunes: ''Die Sterne am Himmel, sie leuchten so hell' (Franz Koringer) 'Is finsta draußt is kalt und staad' (Kurt Muthspiel).

Start the evening with a culinary delight and allow yourself to be spoiled with a delicious dinner before the concert. The Restaurant Gendarmerie is only a few minutes away from the French Cathedral and offers modern Berlin brasserie cuisine in a stylish ambience.
