The concert was excellent, and the mood was truly uplifting. The only issue was the heat inside — it was uncomfortably warm, and fans for the audience would have made a real difference. The singers seemed noticeably uncomfortable as well, which was a shame given how strong the performance itself was.

The singers are enthusiastic and able. The Madeleine setting is unique and beautiful but the cavernous space swallows the sound of the unamplified singers and the volume of the singing is underpowered as a result. That aside it was a very enjoyable show.
