„Existuje důvod, proč jsou některé skladby tak slavné: je to proto, že jsou krásné,“ tvrdí hudební ředitel Emmanuel Tjeknavorian. Tato pravda dokonale rezonuje s Mozartovou Symfonií č. 40, mistrovským dílem z posledních tří symfonií salcburského génia, které se od ostatních dvou liší svou melancholickou a měsíční povahou. Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano mezitím pokračuje ve svém zkoumání Šostakovičových symfonických děl symfonií č. 6, která je veselejší skladbou ztělesňující náladu jara, radosti a mládí.

| Orchestr: | Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
