Dva národy, dvě hudební krajiny. Na jedné straně ledová rozloha Finska, kde Jean Sibelius vyniká jako výrazná osobnost hudby, na druhé straně teplé vánky Andalusie, domoviny Manuela de Falli, kulturní křižovatky plné kouzla. Tento program se odvíjí jako série symfonických dojmů, kde se hudba stává „hostinou tónů a rytmů“ a brilantně zachycuje jedinečné a okouzlující scény těchto dvou zemí: od La vida breve po Noches en los jardines de España pro klavír a orchestr, vyvrcholením je majestátní Sibeliova Symfonie č. 2, typický „zvukový manifest“ finského dědictví.

| Orchestr: | Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi Known colloquially as 'La Verdi', Milan's famed symphony orchestra was formed in the early 90s to supplement the city's already‐generous cultural offering. Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
