Od Wagnerovy dramatické divadelní vize až po Mendelssohnův hudební portrét Itálie – tento program spojuje tři charakteristické hlasy německé romantické tradice v cestě plné barev, lyriky a orchestrální vitality.
Večer zahajuje Wagnerova *Předehra k opeře Tannhäuser*, dílo plné výrazných kontrastů, které představuje duchovní a dramatické konflikty tvořící jádro opery. Následuje *Dvojkoncert pro klarinet, violu a orchestr e moll* od Maxe Brucha, který spojuje expresivní vřelost, lyrickou krásu a rafinovaný dialog mezi oběma sólovými nástroji.
Koncert uzavírá *Symfonie č. 4 A dur* od Felixe Mendelssohna, proslulá *Italská symfonie*. Dílo, inspirované skladatelovými cestami po Itálii, zachycuje pocit světla, pohybu a mladistvé energie prostřednictvím jedněch z nejbrilantnějších Mendelssohnových orchestrálních pasáží.
Program pod taktovkou Emmanuela Tjeknavoriana zdůrazňuje rozmanitost hudebního projevu 19. století, od operního dramatu a intimní lyriky až po zářivého ducha jedné z nejoblíbenějších symfonií repertoáru.

Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
