In the heart of Berlin, embedded in a former storage building of the Berlin State Opera, the Pierre Boulez Saal is an innovative new space for chamber music. The graceful, flexible design by Frank Gehry provides optimal sightlines and a uniquely engaging proximity between audience and musicians.

Opening in 2017, the Pierre Boulez Saal was built as part of Berlin's new Barenboim‐Said Akademie, a groundbreaking project in music education and cultural exchange, headed by Daniel Barenboim.
