A Venetian master artisan explains the ancient techniques of creating beautiful masks out of papier-mâché. Learn about the traditions of Venetian Carnival and masks that stretch back centuries. Then enjoy hands-on instruction in creating your own mask led by a master. After the class ends, participants get to take their masks home. Marka, elegantním Dóžecím palácem, hodinovou věží a Procuratie (prozatím pouze zvenčí). Z náměstí svatého Marka se přesuneme na Campo Santa Maria Formosa, kde obdivujeme kostel SS. Giovanni e Paolo se slavným Pantheonem. Následujeme Scuola Grande di San Marco, známou také jako "Velká škola charity" (kapitáni štěstěny). V neposlední řadě se vraťte zpět na náměstí svatého Marka a obdivujte divadlo Malibran, projděte slavnou Mercerie, kdysi pulzujícím srdcem obchodního života, dnes hlavní nákupní čtvrtí Benátek mezi mostem Rialto a náměstím svatého Marka. Upozorňujeme, že první část prohlídky se odehraje výhradně venku a nezahrnuje vstupné do místních památek. Následuje návštěva jednoho z nejznámějších symbolů Benátek: Dóžecí palác. Dóžecí palác je jedním z nejdůležitějších symbolů Benátek. Po staletí představoval sídlo benátské politické moci. V jeho majestátních sálech vládli dóžecí a jejich rada po staletí osudu Serenissima Republic, obklopeni stovkami uměleckých děl. Dnes symbol Benátek a jejich moci stále stojí v celé své kráse a majestátnosti a každý den bere turistům dech. Dalším nesporným symbolem Benátek je bazilika svatého Marka, krásný příklad byzantské architektury, kde se prolíná východní a západní architektura.
