Relish the opportunity to hear chamber music of the early to mid Twentieth Century played by some of the finest musicians working today. Isabelle Faust, Jean‐Guihen Queyras, Jörg Widmann, and Pierre‐Laurent Aimard combine their talents onstage at the Palau de la Musica Catalana.

Olivier Messiaen's 'Quartet for the End of Time' forms the centerpiece of a concert that also includes works by Berg, Ravel, Elliot Carter, and Widmann himself. Written in a prison camp during the Second World War, the work, scored for clarinet, violin, cello, and piano, is widely recognised as one of Messiaen's most important and effective compositions.
