Götterdämmerung: Bayerische Staatsoper

演出简介

Attend the thrilling conclusion of Wagner's epic Ring Cycle at the Bayerische Staatsoper.

The final "music‐drama" of Der Ring des Nibelungen has, as its climax, nothing less than the downfall of the gods: ending the age of tyranny and ushering in the age of Humans.

Wagner returned almost to a grand‐opera style for this last installment: Götterdämmerung features arias and even a chorus. The opening scene, where the Norns tell of everything that has gone before, make it easy to enjoy this as a stand‐alone evening.

In German with German surtitles.
