Fauré, Berlioz, Ravel, Debussy: Budapest Festival Orchestra

Experience a program that spans eight decades of French music, performed by the Budapest Festival Orchestra with mezzo‐soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci, under the baton of Robin Ticciati.

Fauré's "Pelléas and Mélisande" and Berlioz’s "La mort de Cléopâtre" (The Death of Cleopatra) are on the first half of the program. Afterwards the orchestra will perform Ravel's "Valses nobles et sentimentales" (Noble and Sentimental Waltzes) and Debussy’s "La Mer" (The Sea), which is now considered a masterpiece of 20th‐century music.
