Eglise St. Germain des Prés

The Church of Saint Germain des Prés, built back in the 6th century, is the oldest church of Paris. It was an enormous Benedictine monastery. The interior, with its Romanesque lines, can still be seen clearly under the deforming paint of nineteenth-century frescoes.
