It is with two of the spiritual sons of Bartók that the Dijon Opera has chosen to close its Hungarian season: Ligeti and Eötvös.

From the piano version of Kosmos to the etudes of Ligeti, which echo and explore even further the percussive view that Bartók had of the piano — in particular the formidable Escalier du Diable — the highly praised contemporary‐classical pianist Wilhem Latchoumia guides us through the looking glass of a composer confronting posterity.
