Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic reprise their Classic/FM Gramophone Award-winning performance of Tchaikovsky’s passionate Manfred symphony, which the composer considered to be one of his best compositions.

The Times commented of the recording that “the orchestra’s ensemble spirit is so tight that you could cut yourself on the music’s edges” and the Telegraph called it “essential listening”.
