Ludovic Morlot conducts Brahms, Dutilleux & Dvorák: La Monnaie

Ludovic Morlot will conduct a serene and poetic program of works by Brahms, Dvorák, and Dutilleux. Barbara Hannigan will perform Dutilleux's Correspondances, a work the soprano premiered a decade earlier. Also on the program, Dvorák's inspiring Eighth Symphony.

Correspondances, a cycle of songs for soprano and orchestra, based on poems and extracts from letters, illustrates the mastery of the recently deceased Dutilleux.
