All members of the orchestra as well as staff members are dressed in historic costumes, creating a unique combination of the magic of times past and the amenities of modern-day life.

The Orchestra

The Berlin Palace Orchestra has been formed exclusively for the concert series at Charlottenburg Palace. All members of the ensemble are highly professional and respected musicians from Berlin showing a deep understanding of late Baroque music and music of the classical period as well as a true passion for its interpretation. Endowed with a truly special feeling for music as well a high level of musical homogeneity, the orchestra presents the most outstanding works of this remarkable era to today%u2019s audience.

Start of palace tour

From April to October, we recommend that individual guests start their palace tour at 5:00 p.m. at the latest because the palace closes at 5:15 p.m. You have the option of visiting Charlottenburg Palace at any time of your choice during official opening hours.


You can pick up your tickets in the office in the "kleinen Orangerie Charlottenburg".
Opening hours: Monday till Sunday 9.00.

10.00 am - 4.00 pm: Palace Tour
8.00 pm: Admission to the concert
8.30 pm: Concert start
10.15 pm: Concert end
