Ludwig Güttler counts as embodiment of saxon musicality. He and his Virtuosi Saxoniae - leading musicians from the Saxony's cultural capital - welcome the new year with works of the gods of classical music: Mozart and Beethoven.

Lugwig Güttler is regarded as one of the world\'s most successful trumpet and corno da caccia virtuosos.
He received a number of awards including \'Discovery of the Year’, 1983, and Frankfurt’s Musikpreis for extraordinary achievements 1989.

As head of the friend\'s society of the Dresdner Frauenkirche, Ludwig Güttler promoted the reconstruction of this famous baroque church which was destroyed during World war II and has been reconstructed in 1994–2004.
