Dalitz, Joachim, Solista
As harpsichordist, Joachim Dalitz dedicated himself to the solo- and chamber music works of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries. Extraordinary are his concerts with his pedal harpsichord, which was built in 1994 as a reproduction of a 1700 model, which he takes with him on concert tours. With his instrument, consisting of two resonating bodies (harpsichord and pedal harpsichord) he interprets original work for pedal harpsichord in its baroque clarity, that are today played on organs due to the lack of historical pedal harpsichords.
As a pianist, Joachim Dalitz concentrates especially on the solo works for hammer grand piano by Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert.
